The flamingoes and Tour du Valat get talked about in the media

On August 7th, a dispatch from the French Press Agency put forward the fact that the flamingoes were prevented from breeding in the Camargue this year. This problem - a direct consequence of the partial strike following a redundancy plan at the SALINS company in Salin de Giraud - was monitored closely by our teams. Jean Jalbert, Director General of the Tour du Valat was interviewed by the FPA on this subject.
The dispatch gave rise to many articles and television reports, as well at the regional, national as at the international level. The Tour du Valat was mentioned among others by the Times, the Monde and reports were issued at the FR3 (19/20 Provence - Alpes - Côte d'Azur on August 1st), TF1 (20.00 on August 7th) and FR2 (20.00 on August 8th) television news.
