Mosquitoes: an irritating subject…
A survey carried out recently in the Camargue points out that mosquitoes are the main drawback of living in this area. 61% of the inhabitants of the Camargue are favourable to mosquito control in inhabited areas; however a majority of them (67%) is unfavourable to a generalised elimination of mosquitoes in the Camargue. 72% of them consider that mosquito control can be harmful, mainly for nature. Yet 99% of those surveyed knew nothing about the products used.
